Buddhist Life @ Union

Buddhist Life at Union is what we make of it, together, as students, alumni, faculty and friends.

Buddhist life at Union Theological seminary is a mixture of the personal friendships between students that naturally develop, weekly meditation and check-in practice together, occasional rituals that are held in the seminary’s chapel, and inspiring public events coordinated by the Thích Nhất Hạnh Program for Engaged Buddhism. There is also an active Columbia University Buddhist Association we are beginning to connect with.
